ANDOVER Lions extended their lead at the top of the Hampshire Premier League’s second tier with a 2-0 home win over Sway.
The Lions have now won all 11 league games this season, and boast the only 100 per cent record left in the two division HPL structure.
Kris Hudson opened the scoring in the 19th minute, but the hosts had to wait until the 92nd minute before Zach Neve added a second.
Upham scored four times in the second half as they trounced AFC Petersfield 5-0 away.
Tom Munday opened the scoring in the 37th minute before Luke Maurin, Brad Elkins and Jack Ormiston (2) struck in the second period.
Ultra-prolific
The ultra-prolific Steve Brown belted in a hat-trick as HPLS second tier Four Marks thrashed Wey Valley 7-2 in the second round of the Aldershot Intermedate Cup.
Brown, who has 23 league and league cup goals to his name this term – including a double hat-trick in a losing cause at Bush Hill – struck all his goals in the first half.
Despite falling behind, Four Marks led 6-1 at the break – further goals coming from Tom Reffell (2), Zac Faithfull and Mack Phillips.
