SAINTS manager Ronald Koeman could be heading for an emotional reunion with former club Feyenoord in the Europa League.

Koeman, Graziano Pelle and Jordy Clasie all arrived at St Mary’s from the Dutch giants over the last two years and they could all face a return to De Kuip after Saints joined them in the group stages.

Saints could also find themselves travelling to one of the most iconic stadiums in world football, the San Siro, to face six-time European champions Inter Milan, who qualified to the groups via their fourth-place finish in Italy’s Serie A.

Another glamour tie for Koeman’s team might be Inter’s fellow Serie A side and two-time European champions, Fiorentina.

They enter the group stages after finishing fifth in Italy’s top-flight.

It doesn’t end there with German giants Schalke 04 also qualifying via their Bundesliga finish.

Their home ground, the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen played host to England’s 2006 World Cup exit on penalties to Portugal.

Then there’s Russian big guns Zenit St Petersburg as well as last season’s quarter-finalist from La Liga, Athletic Bilbao, and their Spanish league rivals Celta Vigo.

Saints will discover who they will come up against on Friday, August 26, when the draw takes place in Monaco.

Eventually 48 teams will go into the groups once qualifying is finished.

The other teams in the group stages so far are: Standard Liege (Belgium), Nice (France), Braga (Portugal), Mainz 05 (Germany), Zorya Luhansk (Ukraine), Konyaspor (Turkey).

Manchester United join Saints as the other Premier League already in the groups.
