HAS it really been 15 years?
Saints bid farewell to The Dell on this day in 2001 with a friendly against Brighton and Hove Albion.
It was a fitting send-off as Brighton United were the opponents at the old ground's first game, back in September 1898.
For 103 years it was the scenes of countless memories for Saints fans, from the pre-war days to the 1976 cup run all the way to the Premier League years with Matt Le Tissier.
For many fans it was that man who bid the fondest farewell to The Dell, with a last-gasp winner against Arsenal in Saints' last competitive game there.
But this was the day when fans took their own pieces of Southampton's old home, from seats and turf to pieces of the net.
Saints ran out 1-0 winners against Brighton, with Uwe Rösler on the scoresheet.
