Graziano Pelle in action at Burnley
Graziano Pelle will be suspended for Tuesday’s Capital One Cup quarter-final against Sheffield United.
The Italian striker, Saints' top scorer this season, picked up his fifth booking of the season in the 1-0 defeat to Burnley at Turf Moor.
He received the caution for shoving Burnley striker George Boyd, who was also booked, as he was taking his time to leave the pitch after referee Mark Clattenburg had told him to get off to receive attention to an injury.
Pelle’s one game ban will be served during the match at Bramall Lane.
