1972 - Leeds United 7 Saints 0 (Division One).
An afternoon to forget for Saints as they were thrashed at Elland Road.
A Peter Lorimer hat-trick along with a brace from Allan Clarke and a goal each from Jack Charlton and Mick Jones gave Don Revie’s side a famous victory.
Famous for the hosts, anyway, as the Match of the Day cameras were present to capture Leeds playing keep-ball at times in the second half.
2008 – Wolves 2 Saints 2 (Championship).
There was a dramatic end to this encounter at Molineaux as 10-man Saints netted a last minute leveller.
Sylvan Ebanks-Blake put the hosts ahead on 61 minutes, with Gregory Vignal levelling 14 minutes later from the penalty spot.
Vignal was then sent off shortly after, and Ebanks-Blake looked to have won it for Wolves two minutes from time.
But Jason Euell had the final say with a 90th minute leveller.
