Saints winger Josh Sims played the first 81 minutes of England Under-18s 1-0 win against Switzerland today.

The 17-year-old started the friendly match at St George’s Park this afternoon, as Newcastle forward Adam Armstrong’s goal early in the second half separated the sides.

Sims was replaced near the end of the game by Middlesbrough’s Harry Chapman.

England and Switzerland will play again on Saturday, in another friendly, at Walsall’s Banks’s Stadium.
