FORMER Southampton favourite Rickie Lambert is the latest player to be linked with a summer move to Bournemouth.
The Mirror today claimed the 33-year-old striker is being lined up for a “sensational return” to the south coast.
Lambert left Saints for hometown club Liverpool in a £4m deal last summer but has started only seven league games this season.
He scored 106 goals in 207 league games for Saints, helping the club rise all the way from League One to the Premier League.
Meanwhile, the Sunday People claim that Southampton are lining up a move for Nantes defender Papy Djilobodji.
There is supposedly a £5m price tag on the centre-half, who is claimed to be seen as Saints to be the 'ideal replacement' for Toby Alderweireld, should Atletico Madrid be unwilling to let him go permanently.
Bournemouth are also said to be eyeing up Djilobodji.
