Ronald Koeman has today again given Saints fans assurances he is happy at the club.
Reflecting on another record-breaking campaign, which has seen Saints qualify for the Europa League for the second year running, the Dutchman said: "My situation is very clear. I have one year more contract with Southampton.
"I will have in the next couple of days the talk to the board and to the club about the future and, ok, I will listen to the club, because I think I am very happy to be manager in Southampton, but let's wait about the meeting, because then we can talk about the future.
"Before, I think it's not good to talk about my future.”
Saints will finish fifth in the Premier League if Manchester United lose their final game of the season at home to Bournemouth tonight.
