I, LIKE Mimms Davies am most concerned over the spending of Eastleigh BC.
In 2014, I wrote expressing my concern over the Ageas golf course, both the need for it and the cost.
Council leader Keith House replied that the first nine holes would open in 2015 with the remaining nine in 2016. Nothing is open to date and costs must be escalating.
What is this magical bottomless pit that EBC are drawing from? Presumably the same one that is supplying the £23 million for Fleming Park and not to mention the £3 million to “help” M&S build their Eastleigh store.
As an Eastleigh council tax payer I am most concerned over this profligate spending.
Is it not time for explanations hopefully better than the reassurance I received re: the golf course.
