I AM a very lucky man because of the fact that I was born on the very edge of the wonderful New Forest.
But there is now a problem which I feel I must comment on before I depart.
This regards the importation of the grey version of the beautiful red squirrel, which was so wonderful to watch, and still is, but you must go to Brownsea Island in Dorset or Scotland as they are still lucky enough to have them.
So I ask why ever was his Lordship allowed bring in the grey version of this animal?
The vast difference between these animals is rather amazing.
Sadly I think these days people seem to believe that this animal is as wonderful as the red version.
It is just not true.
